Ogun State Youths Carnival postponed till further notice

The entire youth Wing of the All Progressive Congress Ogun State hereby seize the opportunity to appreciate the general public for their patience and understanding especially at times when the need arise

We would love to appreciate the state governor, HE Prince (Dr)Dapo Abiodun MFR who has been a lover of youth right from the onset, we appreciate his loving kindness and unending support to everything that concerns the youthful family of the state.
We will as a matter of fact appreciate the concern of the state commissioner of police, for putting into consideration the peaceful coexistence  already embraced by the state government towards the eradication of hooliganism and thuggery in the state.
We are as well indebted to the Ogun state APC party executives for their utmost support to the youthful populace of the state. We pray to almighty God to uphold and reward you accordingly,  also appreciate the Secretary to the state government for his fatherly advise. He has been so supportive.
The program, Ogun state youth Carnival 2019 tagged O'Favour is an event put in place just to entertain youths of the state.
The youths of the state have not had any chance to Unite or come together since after election, hence the program is just to meet youths of the state once again to further foster the existing unity, give them sense of belonging and also reassuring them of inclusiveness in the Dapo Abiodun led government

Also we planned  to promote youthful talents in the entertainment industry who are emerging from the state on the event day.

While listing the achievements of the Dapo Abiodun led government within the short-time spent in office, we will as well rẹ-endorse DA till 2027 as he has as a matter of fact which is evidential evidence kept to his promises.
But due to security reports emerging from the state commissioner of police which was put into a press release through the Police Public Relations Officer of the state, the police force however ban all forms of street carnival across the state.
Also, the state police command through the assistance commissioner of police wrote the APC youth Wing of the state in response to the letter of notification sent to the command earlier advised us to postpone the Carnival till further notice.
After consultation with leaders of the party across the state, the members of the committee saddled with responsibility to make the Carnival a success, available members of the Party youth Wing and the leader of APC youths wing hereby conclude to suspend the Ogun State youth Carnival 2019 coming up on the 30th of December 2019 at Orí Omi, Sokori, Abeokuta till further notice in line in order to give adequate time to the state government and the state police command to find lasting solutions to security challenges in the state.
We hereby apologize to the general public, security operatives, invited artistes, special guests and all assundry for any form of inconvenience experienced as a result of the suspension.
Together we shall take ogun state to the desired level of as proposed by the Dapo Abiodun led government.
