EXCLUSIVE: Covid-19 has been detected in presidential aides; as Virus infects permanent secretary, minister, and others

 A number of presidential aides are said to have tested positive for Covid-19 and are now being kept in isolation.

The Permanent Secretary at the State House, Tijani Umar; the President's Aide-de-camp (ADC), Yusuf Dodo; his chief security officer (CSO), Aliyu Musa; and his senior special assistant (media and publicity), Garba Shehu were among those impacted, according to Premium Times on Saturday.

During the week, their findings were verified positive, according to the online publication.

According to the story, the virus has also infected Lai Mohammed, the minister of communications and culture.

Because they have been properly vaccinated, none of them are expected to be adversely impacted by the virus.

The presidential spokesperson, Shehu, was reported in the newspaper as stating, "I have no confirmation of the cases you described, but yes, I have been plagued with the mild variation of the COVID-19." I felt OK from the start, maybe because one had had all three injections, and I am now completely fine. I just finished an hour's worth of running.

"However, the funny thing about this condition is that scientists, not you, will declare you're OK." Right now, I'm taking my medications and isolating myself, and I'd like to go back for a test to see if the virus is still present or if it has left me. Thank you for your consideration."

At the aftermath of the Omicron version, testing in the presidential palace has recently increased to assure the virus's containment.

Remember that the First Lady, Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, ordered the closing of her office a few days ago after returning from Istanbul, Turkey, and asked her employees to go on indefinite leave.

The command is said to be related to the desire to prevent the spread of coronavirus around the first family.

She had previously issued a similar instruction as Covid-19 began to gain traction in the country.

When contacted about the claim on Saturday, Shehu said,

"Have you seen the Premium Times report?"
