Usain Bolt claims that his old friend Prince Harry no longer speaks to him because he 'became pretty serious, too soon' with Meghan Markle.

The Olympic hero, 35, and the Duke of Sussex, 37, made friends when Harry toured Jamaica on behalf of the Queen on a four-day visit in 2012, with Usain even claiming he planned to organize the prince's stag do in 2017.

The athlete, however, claims that he was ghosted by Prince Harry after meeting the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, telling The Sun: 'I feel he became quite serious, fairly quickly.' He is getting married shortly and is ready for it, therefore he has left that life behind.

'I haven't talked to him in a long time, but I'd want to keep in touch.'

As part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Tour, Prince Harry flew to Jamaica in March 2012 to meet the sprinter at the Usain Bolt Track at the University of the West Indies.

Before Usain presented the prince with his own 'Harry Can Bolt' T-shirt, the couple posed in the sprinter's distinctive lightning bolt manner.

At the time, the prince and the fastest man in the world joked about, and the fastest man in the world even let the prince win when they ran together.

Usain promised to organize three stag dos for the royals ahead of their wedding in 2017, just days after Harry revealed his engagement to Meghan.

However, in the run-up to the wedding, Prince Harry is believed to have blocked out some of his "old crew" because Meghan does not want any "temptations" as they prepare to start a family.

According to sources, the Duke 'dropped' close pals such as former wingman Tom 'Skippy' Inskip in case they were a 'negative influence.'

He and another of Harry's buddies, public relations expert Astrid Harbord, were claimed to have been 'airbrushed out.'
