The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) South West Zone wishes to express our utmost satisfaction on the appointment of a seasoned comrade and friend of the Students Community, an emeritus Students Union President of MAPOLY in person of Hon. Comrade Olamide Lawal, as Special Assistant on Youths Affairs/Matters.
The news of the appointment of Comrade LL as he is fondly called has thrown the entire students and youths in Ogun state into wild jubilation as we are confident that with his level of relationship with the community, experience in the field of struggle, vast exposure and proven administrative prowess, he is eminently capable of managing the complexity of the Youths Constituency in the Gateway State.
All you have done and accomplished have led to this point and you truly deserve it, you have worked so hard on your self and created the necessary advantage to convince others of your potential and capabilities.
We have no doubt that with vast knowledge and versatility of your experience in different capacities you are poised to provide exemplary leadership to the Youths.
We are confident that during your tenure, you will contribute constructively to further develop and improve the lives of the Youths and also provide long lasting solutions to series of issues the Youths in the state are confronted with.
On behalf of the teeming leadership of NANS Zone D ably led by Comrade Kappo Olawale Samuel, I say congratulations as we look forward to working together to strengthen the ties between youths and students and also broker peaceful coexistence coupled with The Unassailable Emancipation of New Possibilities Agenda as we are all aware that all Students are Youths and not all Youths are Students.
Be rest assured of our readiness to work with your office in pursuit and defence of the interest of all Youths in the Gateway State.
I appreciate Governor Dapo Abiodun for putting a round peg in a round hole by giving this highly cerebral Comrade the opportunity to serve in this capacity.
OurLeader, I wish you a successful stay in office and register our assurance and support without compromising the trust Nigerian Students in South West have in us.
E-signed:
COMRADE OLADIMEJI UTHMAN “DAN FODIO”
DEPUTY COORDINATOR,
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS (NANS),
NANS ZONE D (SOUTH WEST).
