Students of Federal Polytechnic Oko in Anambra state were welcomed by a stunning scene when they left their hostel on Friday night, March 6, 2020.

Students who live off-campus in Munachi Hostel, Oko, Orumba North L.G.A, found an infant, with her placenta despite everything connected, dangling from the security fencing of the fence isolating their compound from the vacant plot of land adjacent to it.

A Students of the school who addressed LIB said the mother, an undergraduate of the school, brought forth the child in boyfriend’s room after which they attempted to toss the infant over the fence into the plot of land on the opposite side. Be that as it may, their point missed the mark and the infant stalled out vacillating.

Student listened to the baby’s cry and hurried to spare her. They at that point hurried the child to Chukwunoso Hospital inverse the fundamental entryway of the Polytechnic.

Following investigation, it was found that the child’s dad is a HND 1 student of Public Administration Department. He begged his flat mate to permit his girlfriend to convey the infant in their room so they could carry out their evil plan.

When Police from the Oko police headquarters showed up at the area of the occurrence, the child’s dad and mom were at that point on the run.

The boy’s roommate has been arrested.
