Aguero has agreed to give up the second year of his deal.

Aguero has opted to forego the second year of his contract.

According to Diario Sport, Barcelona is thankful to Sergio Aguero for his demeanor during contract discussions. Aguero is aware of Barcelona's financial difficulties and has opted out of the second year of his contract, which had been covered.

Furthermore, he will only get a portion of his salary this season, and he pushed the three-month term allotted to him by the club's physicians to analyze his heart condition in order to clear up any doubt. It's unfortunate that such a talented player could only make five appearances for Barcelona after coming on a free transfer from Manchester City this summer. However, his lone goal came in El Clasico.

Aguero is largely considered as one of the top modern-day center-forwards. He scored 260 goals in 390 games for Manchester City, 100 goals in 230 games for Atletico Madrid, 18 goals in 38 games for Independiente, and one goal in five games for the Blaugrana. He also scored 41 goals for Argentina's national team in 101 appearances.
