 NANS RESPECTS TIMOTHY ADEGOKE AT ERUWA WHILE ALSO WORKING FOR JUSTICE

Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the wee hours of the morning. As Nigerian students, we gathered in Eruwa Town, Oyo State, to pay our final respects to one of our beloved brothers, Adegoke Timothy, who was gruesomely murdered in November 2021.

We stated during the burial rites that the only thing that will please the entire population of undergraduate and postgraduate students is when justice is served to the perpetrators of the heinous crime.

"We are in mourning over Timothy Oluwadamilare Adegoke's death, and we know that if it happened to Timothy, it can happen to any Nigerian student. And if we don't air our grievances, we risk being dismissed. All we want is justice for Timothy, regardless of who is responsible for the murder. We will also send representatives to every court hearing so that they can see how serious we are."

The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Adeobo Ogundoyin, NANS Representatives, Comrade Musa Anuoluwapo Opeyemi, Comrade Mojeed, who also happens to be the Class rep for MBA, OAU, and all MBA coursemates, the SUG president of Eruwa Polytechnic, ICAN members, religious Bodies, family, relatives, and friends were in attendance.

An injury to one is an injury to all!
