Arrest of a Man with Human Parts in OSUN: NAUS Applauds AMOTEKUN and Encourages More Security Consciousness

NAUS ENCOURAGES GREATER SECURITY CONSCIOUSNESS IN OSUN STATE.

The leadership of NAUS OSUN CMC believes it is appropriate to commend the efforts of AMOTEKUN in the state, who have been working tirelessly to ensure that the lives of her residents are safe and that justice is served for inhumane acts committed by callous individuals.

According to a Vanguard News report, Osun Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun agents arrested a suspect with mutilated human parts on Wednesday.

The suspect was almost lynched by residents in Igege town, Ola-Oluwa Southeast Local Council Development Authority, before being rescued by Amotekun operatives.

Confirming the incident, Sunday Olaifa, Chairman of the Ola-Oluwa Southeast LCDA, demanded a thorough investigation into how the suspect obtained the part caught in his possession.

He stated that the man was taken to Osogbo, the state capital, to avoid a situation in which residents attempted to lynch him in the area.

"It is true that the man was caught with body parts, but we demand that the case be thoroughly investigated because the suspect claimed he was set up by his "supposed" son-in-law, so the matter should be thoroughly investigated," He Said.

Meanwhile, Osun police spokesperson SP Yemisi Opalola stated that the Commissioner of Police has been briefed on the incident and that personnel have been deployed to the scene, but that additional information will be communicated to journalists later.

According to reports, the man was approached by residents and forced to unpack the contents of his "Ghana Must Go" bag, which turned out to be a human body part.

The NAUS OSUN CMC Leadership charges security personnel in the state to be more effective and efficient in carrying out their duties, ensuring that all culprits are dealt with and justice is served to defaulters. Until Welfarism and Maximum Student Security are Efficiently Implemented While democratic rights are duly enforced, NAUS will never be intimidated or rest.
